Muktesh K Pardeshi, Secretary (Consultant, Passport, Visa and Overseas India) discussed preparations for Hajj 2024 in Jeddah and Medina.

Pardeshi held a meeting with Saudi Arabian Deputy Minister Abdul Fattah Mashat and discussed the facilities and infrastructure for the welfare and well-being of visitors. Muktesh K Pardeshi visited Saudi Arabia from May 4 to 7 to strengthen the strategic partnership between India and Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said in a press release. It is estimated that 175,025 Indians in India will visit Saudi Arabia by 2024.

Pardeshi met with Saud bin Mohammed Al Sati, Deputy Minister of Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia. At the meeting, both sides discussed the status of the Cooperation Council (SPC) on issues of mutual interest. He emphasized that India is determined to strengthen cooperation with Saudi Arabia in various fields.

During his visit to Riyadh, Muktesh K Pardeshi met with Deputy Minister of Electricity Nasser Al Qah and Deputy Minister of Oil and Gas Mohammed AIbrahim at the Ministry of Energy to discuss cooperation and collaboration in energy fields, including updates and more. . – Network connection. Both sides discussed facilitating investments between India and Saudi Arabia. MEA said that he also met with the Saudi Arabian Center for International Cooperation and Cooperation (SCISP) and its Director General, Raad Al Barakati, and reviewed the work under the economic pillar of the SPC.

MEA said in a press release: “The focus of the visit was cooperation with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The Secretary visited the Gulf Cooperation Council Secretariat in Riyadh and met with the Deputy Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Aluwaisheg.
