Remember to mark your calendars for Asia’s premier conference for shippers and logistics and supply chain experts.
The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre will host the much anticipated Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference (ALMAC) once again on November 21 and 22, 2023.
ALMAC, which is jointly organized by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), has become the leading yearly event for the supply chain and logistics sector.
In order to solidify future-ready businesses and seize opportunities in Asia in the post-pandemic era, ALMAC 2023 will bring together government officials, industry executives, and academics to discuss the evolution of global trade and supply chain, international and regional collaboration, innovation and technology, and sustainability.
The conference this year, with the topic “Future-proofing Supply Chains: Diversification · Decarbonization · Digitalization,” will emphasize the value of using a variety of approaches to deal with the ups and downs of international trade.
The conference will serve as a forum to showcase Hong Kong’s global accomplishments in the fields of carbon reduction, sustainable development, and global promotion of the city’s advantages.
During the conference, supply chain management will see a lot of digitalization. Professionals with experience in digital transformation will impart their knowledge on how to boost corporate growth.
On November 21, the keynote address will be given by FU Xuyin, vice minister of the People’s Republic of China’s Ministry of Transport.
At the event, senior executives from top companies in the sector—including CMA CGM, DHL, FedEx, UPS, and JD Logistics—will also share their perspectives on five key themes: supply chain trends and global trade outlook; supply chain diversification; connectivity and collaboration as drivers of trade development; sustainability; and innovation and technology.
Not to be overlooked is ALMAC’s spectacular show, which will have about 100 exhibitors and include the first-ever Logtech Salon, an innovative display of cutting-edge technology including artificial intelligence, robots, and data systems.
